Who We Are

Welcome to Call Us First, a unique service from the City of Wolverhampton Council, with focus on early intervention to address the root causes of housing instability and prevent individuals and families from becoming homeless. We offer housing advice, support and guidance to help people not lose their home.

The Call Us First service has partly emerged from the ‘Rent with Confidence’ scheme and has been realigned to respond to our city priorities. The housing landscape continues to be shaped by a range of local and national drivers which impacted in developing our approach to providing this service in Wolverhampton.

The Call Us First service is a result of collaborative work with key partners and stakeholders, including private landlords and tenants. Call Us First is a free and impartial service in the city because it is free and impartial, available to all tenures in the housing sector.
